Trade japanese english patch

Yes title says.

i have 2 computers one windows vista and a windows xp
my windows vista have a big virus and i cant start up the
computer, so i must use my windows xp and i have now
download the japanese warrock and english patch of it
in my windows xp,

But now i get this error:
¨you cant play with hardware line 0¨
And know one expert how to get my hardware line to 1 or more?
If you help me i will give you my english patch for japanese warrock..
