Road to Japanese

Hello everybody of MPGH forums. If your interested in learning Japanese, than this thread is for you. Whether it's for anime, or just to know the language I am going to tell you how I'm currently learning it, and making unbelievable progress in about a week and a half.

First off these are the materials you'll need:
utorrent
a iso burning program (magiciso) etc.

Okay, we have all heard about rosetta stone and all, but to be honest for about a 35th of the price you can get a program that can help you read, write, and understand more about the Japanese language at a much faster pace, and trust me it is much easier to learn. It's with a program named Human Japanese. In about 3 days of using it I could read Hiragana, and after about 6 days I can now read Katakana. All you need is the software (which I'll provide) and a couple pieces of paper if you choose to take notes.

I'll also include Rosetta Stone for those of you who feel the need for it. I'm personally using both just to obtain maximum results. I have to say though, it's been about a week since I even started looking at the language, and I am very comfortable with it already. I can set up basic sentences, read and write everything but Kanji (which I'll address in a bit) and understand a lot of the grammatical things about it. I recommend this thread for ANYBODY interested in learning Japanese, and I'm here to say they work and provide you with the materials.

Regarding Kanji, even with both of these programs your going to want a program for separate for Kanji. If you don't already know it's how Japanese names are written, and many other things are abbreviated with these symbols. They are all Chinese symbols given a new Japanese meaning. I will provide a flash card-like program for this that's absolutely free and you won't need utorrent for.

Trust me it seems like a lot to know (What do you expect from a new language) but it's a relatively simple language once you get the hang of it. I happen to enjoy my studies, and it feels great to have the knowledge I have in just 6 days of learning. Also with Kanji, it may seem like a major bitch, but I look at it as a relief. Imagine writing out each word symbol for symbol, especially since they don't space out words throughout the whole sentence. As soon as you get the hang of it, I'm sure you'll be thankful for it.

ehm you can also use romaji to write... well i actually need to typ it that way because i have a english qwerty keyboarda:
ＭＴ．富士　←　this is kanji and i simply typed in romaji = fuji then i used hiragana =　ふじ　then press space till the correct one maily if you know the length of the words its the first space.

+ i use google translate for 1 word translation not sentences that can fail most of the time...

k, ill try this if my pc works again (3rd hhd cant be seen all the time/freezing pc.(probably the cpu core/video card)).

i used win7-32bit.
my main has xp for now because of the errors.
(had win7-32+64bit on it before T_T)
