Recording FRAPS - Resolution - and more, needing help.

Hey guys,

I am trying to record some in-game videos using FRAPS, because I was told it is the best. I strongly agree with them, because such as WeGame it gives me a major lag-spike and freezes for about 2 seconds, which leaves me out in the open to die.

I would like to ask, which screen resolution (on COD:MW2 itself) should I use so I can gain less lag and use less FPS.

Along with that, what FPS should I record at - What is recommended for FRAPS which will reduce lag?

I understand there will be some lag when using FRAPS, but the lag I am having right now is not natural.

I also got a gaming computer, so it is not my computer.



Any ideas?

Set your texture settings to normal.

Close unnecessary programs.

Run Tuneup utilities.

I will try chaning my texture settings, I used game booster and I have done so.

I just got this desktop, and I have no idea where to find the PC Specs on a Windows 7 at the moment.
