What is better for making a good solid hack? Which is easier? And say i wanted to make a hack in C++ how would i get started?

You could have a look in the tut section see if you can find any tuts on making a c++ trainer.

VB is easier, but not quite as "poweful" as C++. If you know your way around C++, you can make some pretty crazy stuff that would be a lot harder in VB. It's kind of a time/effort thing. Is it worth it to learn a harder language that can create more advanced programs? Or is it better to learn a somewhat simple language that can fulfill my needs?

The key concepts of the two languages (object oriented{c++} vs not{b}) allow for completely different programming styles. I personally like and use c++, but you can do some of the same things with vb.

Visual Basic is also object oriented as well, and is powerful. C++ is just more popular due to a lot of little kids running around asking a lot of odd questions and just assuming its the best...

Hate to revive a dead thread, but what the fuck are you talking about BaGGy? You sound like a VB zealot to me.

C/C++ is far more powerful than Visual Basic. Go write me a device driver in Visual Basic, then we'll talk.

Anyone who says VB > C++ is a complete retard. VB cannot compare in anything except complete in anything C++ has to offer except the fact its more retard friendly.
