iOS 8 on iPad 2

Not sure if this is the right discussion place but does anyone here have an iPad 2 running the latest iOS 8.1? If so, how is it? Is it more fluid than iOS 6 and is it worth upgrading to?

I've mainly been holding back because I'm not certain about the battery life and the performance of the device after I update.

dont update!!!! IOS 8 IS SHIT bro.... It has many bugs such battery drain and wifi issues.. apple released 8.1 but this is sick it has increased the security an d it patches the date trick

just check out the apple forums its full of ios 8 complaints
