E74?

Ok, So today I was playing my Xbox 360... And it randomly just shut down... I turned it on a got a 1 red light... And a error came up "E74" I looked up fixes for it and I tried opening and all and it didnt work... I tried the towel trick- it didnt work... I don't have money for sending it back to fix it so I came here for some help, If anyone can post good advice on what to do it would be greatly appreciated.. Once I can get sufficient information on it you can delete/close thread or w/e.. Don't flame me or spam me because I'm a cock sucker. Just please post help... If you don't know anything don't post. Please...

The first way to fix this error is actually really quite simple, it may just be your AV cable. The first thing that you can try is to unplug the AV cable and blow out any dust that may be built up in the connections. Then try hooking it back up and turning it on.

If you are still facing the error than try getting a new AV cable, or you can borrow one from a friend so that you don't buy a new cable if this is not the solution either. Once you have the new AV cable, plug it in, fire up your Xbox 360 and if the error is still occurring then you will have to move on to the next method of fixing the E74 Error.

You can find Xbox 360 repair guides on the Internet that have very detailed instructions on how to fix the E74 error as well as other errors like freezing, the no video problem and the red ring of death. These guides usually come with very detailed step-by-step instructions. The better guides will also include pictures and videos of the process so you can be sure that you will understand each step of the repair.

I tried almost all of them... I took my friends old cords and tried still broke... Noone of those worked and I broke ATM

Well then the problem is inside your system.
Try taking another look inside and see if anything is wrong.
If not then you might have to take it in for repair or even have to buy a new one.

I got that once, did the towel trick ( it worked) then after a few days, i sent it to microsoft

Repaired it for free.

Thats for RRoD, it's only a quick-fix too and then it just dies after a week.
