Is the Price going to drop?

Hello, I do not have a lot of knowledge in this field so I wanted to create a thread to get some ideas on when exactly to buy the components. My main question is, are the component price going to drop anytime in the near future? For example, due to a brand new component being released soon?

I am particularly interested in the following products:
Intel i5 4460
Intel i5 4690K
GTX 970 Gaming Twin frozr

and also BenQ monitors.

If the prices are not going to drop anytime soon then I would rather just purchase them now rather than having to wait. Maybe there is like an event or an occasion when these products go on sale? I am assuming a lot of products go on sale during Black Friday but does it apply for computer components as well?

Buy a r9 390 instead of a gtx 970, it will perform better (especially at higher resolutions), 8gb of vram, and it's the same price.
I just bought the Powercolor model and I absolutely love it! It'll max any of my games on steam at 1080p.

benQ no not rly ive waiting 3 years but pc yes absoloutly components prices drop a lot every year as new technology is integrated into components
