if you have any dedicated gpu you should always have HA on. It doesn't take much graphics power but it helps a bit. So even if you had tri sli titan x the game still very much relies on your CPU. Keep that in mind.

nothing is "cpu" or "gpu" based.

everything goes through the RAM and CPU. GPU isn't for running programs, it's for assisting your computer to display those programs, in the most basic sense.
