2.5 Months After Cheats and No Ban?

Just over two months ago, I made a thread on here asking whether or not my smurf account would be banned if I hacked on my main since they were both registered under the same email address. In the end I got an answer, but the only reason I had asked the question in the first place was because I was anticipating either a VAC or OW ban on my main.

Why was I anticipating a ban? I hacked for three comp games (in total, in a row) and played semi-obvious (since it was the first and last time I had ever used cheats). I used a different hack each game; one was a polyhack, one was one of clockworks tiny hacks, and I don't remember what I used in the third game. I didn't protect the cheats with Enigma or a hash changer or anything like that, just the raw cheats. Since the oldest cheat had been out for about 40 hours that I had used when I used it, I feared that my account was flagged to be VAC'd in the coming weeks since it is a public cheat and literally anybody (including valve) can download it. I decided to stop cheating, and have since ranked up (legit) from GN2 to MGE (yes I suck but i like to think I'm at least getting better).

After being paranoid for like 3 weeks, there was still no ban, overwatch or VAC. Fast forward 2.5 months after my cheating incident, I now use this account to trade with large amounts of keys, play on it everyday, and am even a member of Overwatch. Honestly I completely forgot I cheated, but I just remembered and the idea of my account being banned is once again looming behind me. I've read somewhere that VAC bans can take anywhere up to three months to trigger after the account is flagged as cheating -- is there any truth to this? Any chance of me being banned?

I'm in the same exact situation as you buddy... I honestly would buy a new smurf account with a different email to put all your items on.

You could EASILY still get a VAC ban. I got a 3 month delayed ban on CS:S and TF2 just a week ago.

I have seen people who have reported like 6 month delayed VAC bans.
