Is there such thing as "the safest feature" of a hack?

hi there,
as i was banned once already for hacking in bf4, i am kind of reluctant in using hacks again.

but still (fingers crossed), is there a feature that i can still use without being afraid of a ban again?
i'm thinking about ESP (skeleton) mainly. being an external overlay i guess it doesn't appear on pbss, right?
but how actually PB works? Is it scanning all background activities looking for suspicious programs and once it founds a known hack applies ban instantly? i mean, it's all about the program you're running and NOT what are you actually doing with it?

i stay away from anything that alters of reads the game data. only my home made recoil reducer.

Any type of "hacking" has a chance of being banned.

my question was if using a certain feature ONLY (draw bones specifically) is dangerous.
but then i found out that PB scans active programs running in background and identifies known hacks. so it doesn't matter if i use a certain feature or not; only by having the hack program running in background can get me banned, apparently...
