Looks great so far But for some reason I can't copy the "DirectX UI-15.lib" out of the .zip. Does someone has got the same problem or know how to fix that?

//EDIT: Tried to move it out with WinRAR. But it says it's damaged.

Re-download the file.

Don't bother he won't help... All he will do is bump his own thread.

I dont help people that blindly copy paste, learn cpp and you would figure the error out yourself, the tutorial wasn't meant for straight up copy paste.

Worked now with redownloading it. Thank you =) But another error I get is that d3d9x.lib can't be opened. (Followed everything you explained in the thread) I had the same problem before with an older SDK. But I never really used DirectX since I almost got errors all the time. But I thought this thread would be a great way to start using it.

include the directx library and included in both VC++ directories and in C/C++ -> General, not that hard to figure out man
