We all hear "Life Is Short" all the time, but when you think more in depth... life is REALLY short. You start off your life and up until around the age of 18 you are going through your basic education. Then if you decide to go to college you're there until you are 22-28 depending what you want to do. Let's go with the basic 4 year school and say you officially start your life at 22 years old, the average life expectancy of a person living in the US as of 2012 was 78 years old. So you have 56 years of life to do what you love assuming you can do it up until the day you die, for most people 60-65 they become unable to do the things that they used to love some even sooner, so if we say that 60 is the age where you are unable to do all the things you used to love and enjoy you're looking at 38 years of full life doing what you actually love. That's crazy and it really shows you that LIFE IS SHORT, SO LIVE IT HOW YOU WANT.

What i see wrong with this post is that your avatar has some1 smoking. You're an idiot if you smoke once a week/month. But if you think its cool to smoke or it "feels good" you shouldn't be worrying about how long life is, you must think how much of your life will be dedicated to smoking/drugs

You are basically focusing on the money rather on life itself, by saying those things above. I think you should reconsider about the actual meaning of life, its not based only in material and consuming. Idk what your age is, but I have to say that up to now, the best years in my life were 12-18.

From a physiological perspective, half of your life is gone by the time you turn 18. Time passes more quickly (mentally) the older you get, due to each day, week, and month being a smaller fraction of your life as a whole. A 5 year old waiting 1 year is waiting 20% of his life, while a 50 year old waiting 1 year is waiting 2% of his life.
