grunge sig

Hello people
today i am going to be doing a tutorial on my favourite type of sig, a grunge sig

1. get the render u want to use
I am using my slash render

i am also using the original pic for the background

2. Open photoshop, and make a new file, any size but i am using 450 by 150
3. place the render (or in this case the original photo) on a new layer, do not bother resizing it yet, like this

4. Go to the smudge tool, open the dry media brushes and select this one

5. In the corner click on the tab that says brushes and set it to the following settings

6. Now smudge the picture like this

7. Open your render an put it on a new layer, scale it so it fits like this

8. Duplicate the render a couple of times
9. Hide all the duplicates of the render
10. Use the smudge brush to smudge the original render, like this

11. go to the next layer of the render and smudge it, but less, like this

12. Now you have a couple of options, u can use a c4d or not, but thats up to u
13. Use the burn and dodge tool to change the lighting on the reder and back ground, like this

14. Add some text, play with the lighting and then ur done
