Why do people think Baseball is so lame or boring?

Baseball is fun to play but not fun to watch, the play is alive for like 10-15 seconds at a time and for like 2 minutes they're just doing random shit tbh. Same with football although it is entertaining in my opinion. Hockey/Basketball plays are alive for minutes or more at times and it's very entertaining to watch.

Because baseball is basically like all american sports. You take 10-30 seconds of action, you wait. You take 10-30 seconds of action, you wait.

Baseball is also so simple a sport that steroids are often used because skill is only required to a certain extent.

Baseball is also notorious for having gambling issues.


Baseball also has relatively half it's team be useless for half the game. Another problem with american football, where half the team basically does jack for the majority of the game.


Baseball is also slow as fuck and boring as fuck. When 3/4 of the game is anticipating the hit, you're watching 5+ people just sit there.




Essentially people dislike baseball for the reasons they like football.

Big issue here is that these can pretty much be applied to 90% of sports as a whole.

That's because 90% of sports are boring as fuck to watch.

I personally think it's because most people are overweight and it's less taxing so they prefer "football." Catch a ball and run a couple yards and stop. Not much skill or technique involved compared to hitting a really fast ball at the right angle at the right time, and running to bases strategically.

I personally prefer Baseball. Also I guess because I'm pretty good at it.
