In April of this year I finalized my computer by putting in the last missing part (My GFX card) and a few people I talked to while picking parts out for it said I shouldn't go with X because blah blah blah... Honestly I didn't even listen to half the words they said.
My setup ::
- Chassis: be quiet! Silent Base 800 Black/Orange
- PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750W, 80+ Gold, Modular
- Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A ATX
- CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K 4GHz, 8MB (Devil's Canyon)
- GPU: GK Gigabyte GTX 970 Gaming G1 4GB
- RAM: HyperX 16GB (2x8GB) CL10 1866Mhz XMP
- HDD: Toshiba 1TB 7200rpm 32MB
- SSD: OCZ Arc 100 240GB
- OS: Windows 10
Everything is almost factory setting, the bios has been tweaked a little bit for fan control.
Side-note: Some people I know complained about me getting the i7 4790 and not overclocking it...

You may have problems with power. 750 watts is fairly low for what you have.
Your GPU is totally fine, so don't worry about that.
Everyone posting computer stuff in general, there is a computer build section.

If you can spend the extra money, get a 1000W+ psu, and better ram like 2133/2400 mhz
Just nitpicking stuff
750w is actually plenty for the build I'm running right now, If I ever wanted to shove in a second GFX card in the future I'll buy a new PSU with it. But as it stands right now it's more then enough to handle what I'm running.
I was there at first and the assumption I made by reading the description about the sub is that it's mostly for new builds?
Hehe I know what you mean, I was looking at a set of 2133 at first but after all prices in sweden went up I had to swap those for the 1600mhz ones I have right now.
I would've gone with 16gb or 32gb of 2133mhz and a 1000w PSU along with a 980 if all prices hadn't gone up while I was purchasing my parts...
Like, I'd buy my Motherboard and next week the price of everything went up a few % on some pieces, so I'd buy those pieces and the other pieces I was missing went up by a few % as well... So I was kind of forced to downgrade my computer Slightly... But honestly, I have yet to see an issue with my GFX card. I don't see why people whine about it having 0.5gb of slow memory and 3.5gb of fast memory... No games I have played have yet to push into 3gb, Highest I've pushed it so far is 2.7-2.8 and that was with extreme tweaking to try to push it as far as it possibly could on any one game.
