I would like to go away from the buggy Android, but I am sad that the only better alternative is iOS...

Kind've surprised at these answers. I've never had any issues with Android bugs but then I've always used the Nexus line. Camera isn't always the best compared to iPhone unless you want a Samsung but then you have to deal with their shitty UI. With the emoji thing, that's just funny since everyone who receives your emojis will only see what they have installed to begin with (so if you send emojis to iOS users, they see iOS emojis and etc). The iOS emojis look really tacky like they belong in the 90s next to some scrolling text.
One good thing iPhones have going for them is that they have a great app store and a beautiful design. My mother and sister love iPhone but inevitably Apple pushes out a shitty update about once every few years that makes their phone insanely slow while my old Android devices are still running circles around them. I also have experienced this on old Macbook Pros although not to the same extent.
I like custom roms.
pac man atm.
It depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I like iOS more but there's a lot of different android skins to choose from which makes it more customizable.

I have two phones, the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 and I use them on a daily basis (for work reasons) and I honestly enjoy using the S6 more.
Previous android phones were buggy and prone to crashes but my S6 is as smooth as a baby's butt and you are able to do so much more. The only downside is the emojis. I just wish android incorporated ios emojis instead of making their own.
Android over iOS, especially because almost everything you will ever need (essential stuff) on a phone, Android can do it and for a cheaper price.
For me, iOS is not worth it. But hey, my opinion. I though about gettin one iPhone like 5 years ago, so I started to check them out. Nah. Not really worth it.
Anyway it's up to you.
AND OP, NEXT TIME LEAVE A POLL. Easier to manage the votes.
Android is great the first month then it turns into a nasty buggy shit. iOS is better.
As I have always said, Apple is the superior [phone] brand.
Android is full of bugs and does not have full features in apps.
HTC One M9 is $649.
For that price, you can get an iPhone 6, which performs more consistently and is overall a better phone.
