How to get to rank 3, fastest method: (This isn't a shit post like all the other posts in this thread)
1: Play deathmatch / casual untill you get to private rank 2, at this point you will have used up all your bonus XP (most of it atleast)
2: Wait untill bonus XP reset (on wednesday) and then play deathmatch / casual untill you get to private rank 3.
I have done this before will only 4-5 hours of steam tracked ingame playtime on CS:GO.
