Unturned Recipe moding

I was playing around in the items folder located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unturned\Bundles\Item s
I happened to notice that you can change the recipes around, example

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unturned\Bundles\Item s\Growers\Fertilizer
1. open the Fertilizer file with notepad++
You should then see something similar to the below text.

Type Grower
Useable Grower
ID 332

Size_X 1
Size_Y 2
Size_Z 0.45

Blueprints 1
Blueprint_0_Type Barricade
Blueprint_0_Supply_0_ID 64
Blueprint_0_Build 27
-------------------------------------

2. Change your supply id from 64 to 2
3. save and restart unturned.

Open up your crafting go the barricades tab, you will see the new recipe! Congratulations! You have learned how to mod recipes.


This works on both MP and SP

Note: I will be doing more test on this tomorrow after work, I however felt I should share this with the community.

of course, another user said it does not work though. It worked on the server I tested it on. I will run more tests tonight, I am also going to see if I can create recipes for the guns.

Can u make a tutorial how whe can do this with guns?

I will be doing more testing tonight, I have an idea to try on the guns. If I can find a way to get it working I will post a video on how to do this.

It worked perfectly fine on the server I used it on (no this server was not my own.) I will be running more tests tonight.
Also...Already* tried* two months* did not work online* (didn't is also acceptable)...What on gods green earth is impz?

I am currently unsuccessful at being able to provide creation of weapons. I think I may have to look into the assembly csharp and see if maybe recipes are mod-able via that route, it appears that i may have of gotten lucky with a possible glitch. I am unaware. My apologies mates. I will be looking to see if there is something i can do about this.

Read my last post, also if you are going to attempt to insult anyone; learn how to talk. The only thing you are offending is my eyes.

Now, as I stated above, it did work for me, I am unsure if I somehow ran into a glitch or what. I know I did not have rope in my inventory, and when I used this recipe it worked. Should I of tested it more before I posted? Yes, but I had to work. Therefore I went ahead and posted it so others could hopefully at least find some use from it. Instead I get ungrateful twats like you.

This doesn't seem to be working in multiplayer. The recipe is shown, but you can't craft it.

If you are going to dish out insults it is ignorant and arrogant to assume you will not get any back. Oh and I just started modding unturned the day I posted the original post. So by your logic you are abusing me for the what was it? "Stupidest reason" as four your Russian I do not speak Russian nor do I care enough to translate it.

It appears I somehow stumbled into a glitch or something. As I did not have rope in my inventory and created fertilizer. It worked but I was not able to reproduce it. I am looking into the source now to see what all I can do editing the assembly csharp. Sorry mate.

Also know right now this is not "modding unturned". This is basic file editing that even kids with half a brain can do.
