Over time it will drop.

Multi-car discounts are a thing, also yea go on your parents plan. It will GREATLY reduce your costs, and $150 a month isn't that bad, I pay $145 A month, but I have a sports car so idk. Anyways good luck

my first car was a renault megane 1.4l, I managed to get my insurance of £1700, which is a lot. but what i did was put both parents on the policy even though they will never drive the car. and also my mom only got a learners license, (provisional) dunno if you can do that in other countries. another thing is if you family (relatives or friends) that perhaps live in a nicer or rural area put your policy on their address, and worst comes maybe just change your driving license address to theirs.
oh yh, also said i was a student nurse that managed to drop it by like £300, lol
Good grades, defensive driving, not having a dick, and being over 25 all help.
