Do you believe that God is good?

I believe in God and i really do believe that God is good, but i will not judge anybody for not believing in him. Although in the bible they accept slavery, and some people say: i'd rather not believe and die to find out he actually existed than to believe in him and die just to find out he didn't.

Some people get mental support from believing that God is watching them and will be there to help them throughout their life. Some people just need to rely on something, otherwise they lose the point of living. For others, God will slow them down, some people take it way too far & do not progress. It's only a matter of perspective. I personally do not believe in him, but know a lot of intelligent people who do & know a lot of not so smart people who do also. It harms some, and does good for the others.

Lol you guys do realize that God was made up when people needed answers to things they didn't have scientific answers to, right? We have most answers to things, we don't need all of this debate on if he is good or not because he doesn't exist. That's the reason it's corrupt? Atheism holds no strict rules like the majority of religions do; it holds no rules. Atheism is simply the disbelief or lack of belief that there is no God or Gods.
To say Atheism is the cause of corruption in a country is ridiculous. America has a lot of problems because of Christian beliefs. The third world countries that have a tonne of problems are caused mainly by the Islam beliefs throughout it.

Religion has caused too many wars through history and even nowadays.
