I know its detected but I changed my hook and you can still play with a vac ban since the last update.

I'm a noob, so please don't hate if this is a dumb question. I thought the whole point of VAC bans on any game was to stop you playing, why doesn't this happen on MW2? Also a follow up question, what do VAC bans actually do if they don't stop you playing on MW2?

The VAC ban on mw2 doesn't do anything other than just viewing a VAC on your profile
