Is H1Z1 worth it?

So yeah, its last steam sales day and i have some money left. Been thinking about buying H1Z1 but i read somewhere that its hella buggy, cheaters everywhere, new anticheat gives noreason bans etc.

So have any of you played it and how was it? Is it worth it to get? I got some steam friends who is playing it and they said its kinda okay.

Looking to play probably battle royale only, and how are those drops, are they resellable on steam market, etc ?

The game is in alpha version, of course there are more bugs and exploits or cheaters.
Still, i saw the game on summit1g stream and started playing it like 3 months ago, fell in love and still playing.

Battle royale is cool, been playing it for 2 months but i switched to survival which gets more love from developers nowadays.
It's really great game and comparing it to DayZ which i also played for over a year, this one - it's alive, getting frequent updates and attracted a big bunch of people to play it already. While DayZ is dying, and not much people are playing it anymore, H1Z1 - if finished, will be the best game of their genre. I said if finished, cuz this company seems to have problems with finishing their projects. Last 2 game projects were dropped/abandoned.

Still, the game is really cool and i recommend it to you. You can get skins only from cases and it's like in CS:GO, so i wouldn't waste money on it.

Lmao nope! Watching YouTube videos of it might look like its fun but its really not. 90% of the time you are just running and searching. 10% of the time you will be in battles. And god damn, it sucks when you wasted an hour searching for shit and you die.

Would I recommend it... Nope, unless you like searching for hours to have 2 minutes of fun/hype.

And its not really buggy (for me) and I haven't really encounters any cheaters.

Rust is in alpha and there are barely any bugs, not many game breaking exploits, and barely any cheaters. Rust makes every other alpha game look like poop if you ask me.

No shit when you've been in alpha for three years.

OT: I bought it and it's enjoyable for a few hours at most. I thought battle royale would be more than it was hyped up to be, but it wasn't. You either camp out the time and wait for a small amount of players left or attempt rushing everyone you see. I didn't find it enjoyable.

Survival is fun when you find a team, which isn't hard - just be friendly, i've been killed once by a group and didn't rage at all, unlike others. I've asked if i can join their group, and they agreed. Am playing with them until now on London Server.

Imo the game is fun as hell, but that's just my review

If you liked DayZ - then you'll like H1Z1. I can't understand people crying about survival games being a "run for 30 minutes". Hey, you played DayZ? There were no fkin cars for 2 years and when they added one it was bugged and is till now. The distance between top of the map to the bottom was around 1 hour of running only. H1Z1 is just slightly smaller, but has cars that in fact aren't that hard to find if you know spawn-points.
