I'll base it off of my own homework services -- I had NO set prices. Why? Because I had people who came to me who needed a 5 page essay in 12 hours. I also had people who had a project due 2 months ahead in time. I also had people who needed 11th grade work done.

Point being: there's so many factors to consider, it's hard to have a set price, instead, like a freelance service, your price is determined by the work you will have to put into it. Another reason I'd advise not having a set price, I've seen homework services that state like X words or X pages = a current price however are you going to be putting colloquial language and sentence structure and paper standards into a 9th grade paper? Probably not and thus you shouldn't charge like you're writing a college essay.

edit: wanted to address the rest of your post. Open a homework service if you find it to be something you'd enjoy doing. I know that's hard to measure but think of it like a job, you're providing a service and at least do something that you'd somewhat enjoy. Especially at your girlfriend's age, doing people's homework can be rewarding both materialistically and intellectually.

SUBmarine biology, that's what I'm trying to point out. That's totally not a real course in high school, I call BS.
