Can you get a desktop?
I'm considering getting this laptop:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B015...A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB
From what I can tell this is a pretty good laptop; i5, gtx940, it seems worth the price.
a few questions:
From what I've heard, MSI is notorious for shitty battery life. is there truth to that?
And second: what kinds of games could I be looking at running here? at most id like to play arma 3 on medium graphics. would the CPU be able to support that? I know arma games are really cpu heavy.
Thanks for your help.
Can you get a desktop?
well had a friend with a msi gs70, after 2 years.. the gtx 765m inside started overheating to 90C+ but it was kinda dusty.
Just came out not long ago. about 5.7lbs? one of the thinnest gaming laptops (no optical drive) $800 USD best bang for buck in my opinion
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-...=gaming+laptop
I5 6300HQ
8GB DDR3 RAM
256GB SSD
GTX 960m 4gb
Exist? No (01-31-2016)
Don't buy MSI. Buy Lenovo, ASUS or Dell when it comes to laptops. I recommend this one: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/ThinkPad-T420...sAAOSwMmBVomyd
Even though it says Manufacturer refurbished, it comes brand new trust me.
Go for this one: https://www.nci*****m/detail/asus-k550...03058-1120.htm
I've been using it personally, it's a really great laptop for its value.
Well if you are into gaming and you travel a lot in the same time... you should consider waiting for the new Razer Blade, I suggest you check it out..its a normal ultrabook but when you plug it in with the Razer Core (or whatever its called) [basically the core is a external desktop graphics card ] it become like a gaming laptop wiht fking Desktop Graphics not to mention you can change the GFX card with you own card if you wanted to.. So you got yourself a amazing gaming PC at home and and amazing looking powerful ultrabook when you are outside... not to mention the laptop is sleek its beatiful
Razer Bladeee all the wayyy
I wouldn't buy an expensive laptop in the first place. Laptops priced around $300-$500 will do. But, I wouldn't game on a laptop either. Got a PS4 for that.
