Didn't like how it ended but at least I ship TatsumiXEsdeath
If anyone else has seen "Akame Ga Kill!", what the fuck was that ending. To me it seemed like "Tatsumi" had great character development until he randomly dies trying to save ~20 citizens. ALL of the other characters deaths had some dramatic scene with a great speech about how they are happy, ect. He dies and says "I couldn't Keep my promise." Absolutely stupid.

I'm Still young. Still growing. Still fucking up. Still perfecting myself.
The series was an anime original ending, meaning that the manga wasn't actually that far. Here's the actual story thus far.
>Mine is alive, but comatose
>Bulat, Sheele, Chelsea, Susanoo, Lubbock are all dead still
>Akame never kills Kurome. Wave runs off with her(Kurome) and they live in a cabin
>Tatsumi is basically dieing because of his power
The newest chapter is finally getting to the big finale fight.

How do I even respond to posts like these?
In theory it sounds better, but the actual story is the same edge-lord material.
If Wave was the MC, and they cut down on that edge that I just mentioned, I might enjoy it slightly more. It's just.."I wan't to kill everyone because they're evil" is such a simplistic way of writing it's almost childish.

It's not even preference, it's just fucking retarded.

Anime was definitely something different from other anime, but like kyle said it is still edge-god and the show has too many deaths for any of them to be meaningful.
I am more of an manga person and it seems like the series is coming to an end in the next 10 or so chapters. Still take like a month for one chapter to come out.
