    PayPal Chargeback

Is there a way to avoid PayPal charge-backs and disputes? Especially with larger transactions. I've tried splitting up the payments but i'm not sure if that'll work.

There is no way you can avoid charge back, buyer can charge back any time and win. However, to avoid losing money, you can simply make a secondary fake info Paypal account and transfer all your money to it, unless your primary Paypal account have real info, Paypal will find you easily and make you pay. Or you can use the secondary fake info Paypal to receive money and transfer to your main, that way your fake account take consequences but they don't know who's the real owner, so you can just run away. This method is not 100% Guaranteed that it will work, but I've done it before. Use VPN on fake account if paranoid.

Ask them to dispute the payment, then close the dispute.
Each payment can only be disputed once.

If you ask the buyer to dispute the payment before you send the goods then cancel it, that should avoid any chargebacks.

It works in most cases but if someone pay via VISA/ Credit Card then it will not work because he can charge back via his credit card company. Been done to me

Firstly, it depends on the item. If it's a virtual item, no chance. If it's an item that has proof of delivery there is a chance however paypal are more likely to side with you if you have a verified account. Secondly, do not use paypal to sell virtual goods that are worth large amounts of money. You will regret it. I sold a Rolex watch on ebay a few years back using paypal and it was a hell of a ride. Nearly lost my watch and the money. Just be careful.

When buyer opens dispute then answer it as you sold virtual item (intangible goods) and PP will decide in your favour

    Wrong.

A closed or cancelled Dispute can still be brought back to life - if you have evidence.
