GoodLuck good build
Hello!
So i got into PC gaming probably years ago and just thought of getting a new PC, i decided to go with Skylake since i will need something new and won't be changing my PC in the next few years (Except GPU)
I'm going with a GTX 960 (MSI White Edition) since i never play high demand games.
Also will the Dark Rock 3 fit in the 450D?
Total cost: around 1350$ (Amazon).
Case price not included since i will not be ordering it and just get it from any PC shop.

Whatcha lookin' at
GoodLuck good build
Goood build liking the specs man
Bro, i'm a bit concerned about you power supply, i think it's kinda little weak for your specs but you might know better than me and you got everything figured
just saying
i was just thinking should he change the power supply
I would go for something like a lower i7 or even an i5 and a 970 or 980/ti. Still a solid build
I don't think an i7 is necessary at all, just take a good i5
i7+960=bad combo!
try doing i7+980ti
Actually his PSU is more than fine, even a 500W will do more than fine if u don't go SLI.
On the otherhand if this is a gaming system it's pretty bottlenecked. For gaming there is no use for the extra dollars spent on i7 6700, if you still opt for the i7 you should atleast get a GTX970. Also get i7 6700k instead of 6700, you're buying aftermarket CPU cooler so you can crank it up atleast 500mhz without having any effect on temps.
What you should do? Get i7 6700K, switch GPU to GTX970 and get a 750W PSU. Why to get a 750W PSU even thought I just said that even 500W is enough? Because it allows you to get second 970. 970 SLI is the most cost efficient GPU combo, smacks even 980 in price to performance. If you really think you're not gonna need power switch up to skylake i5, i7 isn't going to give you performance. And you said you don't play high demand games so getting i7 is straight up pointless. It is only good for CPU based tasks such as encoding and editing etc.
Great build I have the same almost
