Wasn't meant to be used for much, Just as a show piece for teaching little kids, i was going to blunten it. I was mostly interested in the quality of the steel.

I'm not sure are you actually going to be using it for protection or just Display it?

Not going to be using it for personal protection, I've got standard issue combat knives for that, its mostly for my person collection and showing off to little kids who are interested in the history of the knife and its regions.
