As a 'clue' to those seeking private hooks - from what i have seen of at least one working good example, they aren't any big mystery or mythically unique items.

In fact, if you actually compare them to scripthook in a hex editor, the changes required become pretty clear - no guarantees, no promises of 'undetectable' etc (it is what it is, in the cold reality that there is no such thing as 'undetectable' hacking and modding), but i'm just saying there's no huge mystery to the 'private hooks' - and virtually immediately you'll find the private hooks are hardly 'holy grail' stuff - certainly nothing a bit of careful thought and time with a hex editor can't achieve with AB's code. Just take a good look at the original 'AB sourced files, and you'll start to spot the key data fairly quickly.

How far you go to obscure the end results, is up to you - but the other half of getting existing mods to work (DotNet based and simple SH based stuff) is pretty much 5 min hex edits.

Note - any more detail than that, i don't be posting - nor am i open to requests to that effect, since i only investigated it for idle personal curiosity and a gut feeling it wasn't quite the well-guarded secret it's made out to be (hell, if the telltale traces are anything to go by, whoever tried to hide the origins was about as good at it as Hitler was as good-will ambassador).

So cheers to those who 'donated' copies for research - their anon contribution helped confirm what i pretty much suspected and nearly had completed by my own tinkering.

I have lost count how many times I have tried to use this menu. All redistributables,etc are fine and installed. All 3 files are in proper directory.

Config.ini file is in C:/

Install directions followed. Run game, enter story mode, run around a min or 2, press "F5" key and nothing. No menu, no error, nothing at all. Looks like alot of fun like the ten or so other mods and menus I have used for hours at a time without issue.

Any thoughts or assistance would be gratefully welcomed. Thank you!

Um... you should check the "asiloader.log" file in your gta5 directory
