Can't go pass the patcher

I just downloaded crossfire after getting a new os and now it can't get passed the patcher.
keeps telling me it's self patching and continues till 100% and then disappears without a trace.
there's no response after that, and no trace for the game in the task manager either.
please help...

Delete Log, Backup, hgwc and XTrap folders folders, then try launching with the patcher_cf... otherwise uninstall, delete any remaining files/folders and reinstall

Nope, still a no go

So it patches every time you open it (which means it can't finish patching, actually), gets to 100%, closes but neither HGWC nor XTrap appears, right? Have you checked this in the exact moment it reaches 100% with the task manager? Is there anything that could be shutting the patcher down, like an antivirus or something of the kind? Is it windows 10 you are running on?

Uninstall, Reinstall, delete everything from your %temp% folder then open patcher_cf once it closes open it again and again until working. It probably closes because a new patcher version.

Solved, guys... i just adjusted the time zone and it all went fine (which is pretty weird, of course)

Probably had it on an older date than the Crossfire's server.
