How can I make my GUI look better?

I am making a MSN Freezer and the GUI look's pretty sh*tty atm just wondering if anyone could give me some tips to make it look better?, and no I am not posting the MSN Freezer on the forum I know it is not aloud

Try to organize your GUI.

Look at all the extra space you have! You can easily size down that application to something smaller and easier to deal with.

Next, use commercial GUI components.

Also, there are several commercial GUI components out there that are really amazing. Try using DotNetBar (yes, it sounds old, but if you use a different theme instead of default blue, it actually can look amazing), or Infragistics .net advantage.
