Did you have texture hack for version 174? Did you unpatch it? If not.. Then find the program that enabled the textures in 174. Usually it comes with an unpatcher. If it doesn't have an unpatching method then I suggest deleting the iw_00.iwd - iw_07.iwd files in \main\ folder of your MW2 directory and letting Steam re-download them. (1.24GB approx)

I have unpatched my old .iwd files and everything runs smooth for the most part. Though in some games I will enter and the character models are all red but one team will be all red with a blue face. I don't know why.. Other games, the teams will be properly coloured (Axis Red, Allies Blue, Snipers Green and Riots Purple. As I have chosen) Anyone know why?

You cannot host a game with these texture hacks. Everyone will be kicked if you are the host. To prevent being the host of a game, add inbound and outbound rules to block UDP port 28960 in your firewall.

Bottom line. If you want to host MW2 games. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS TEXTURE HACK.

hahah I was wondering why there would be 2 or 3 games a night where I was the only player in the server and it just kept disconnecting everyone that attempted to join. My internet is way 2 slow to host anyways so oh well.

If you want opaque walls make your own textures for them, I'm pretty sure if you hacked the textures in maps people would love you
