One piece has been repeating the exact same formula just with different characters or a different town. There is nothing new about it, and the outcome is either predictable or some Nakama power-up. It's a lame excuse of a series, targeted to adolescent teens in Japan so they can have some small amount of entertainment in their 16 hour school life.
