ok wtf i thort a HW ban was ur HD mac address but i got a new HD and still im HW banned wtf???....do u think this is becus i kept my old drive to store files on possibly??

when you get hw banned you cant really tell what part of the hardware they ban, they can ban pretty much any peice of hardware thats inside of your tower

one of my friend says that ip ban people is illegal and that it is impossible but i keep saying him IT IS POSSIBLE EVEN HARDWARE BAN IS POSSIBLE but he dont believe me

punkbuster logs all the banned mac and IP addresses wen it detects one in its servers it detects either the user account or the user and throws them off either with a fresh account ban or a reminder telling them they r hardware banned thats where a bypass comes theres the basic bypasses wich stop pb from scannin ur comp but i think theres the one where pb can still scan ur comp but the bypass tells it all new information wich makes it look like ur not banned complicated isnt it

its not illegal to ip ban from any thing because everything on the internet is privately hosted/owned so if they dont want you in there they have the right to deny you access to their servers, even it it means banning your IP address
