It's free. But I don't know where to download the full Halo, the searcher keeps giving Halo Trial. But anyways, heres the CD-Key:

And I think you need the Halo CD to play. Not entirely shure.
But for Halo Costum Edition you don't.

You no longer need the CD with the patch upgrade from V1.07 to V1.08 therefore mounting the image won't be necessary.

There is an illegal download where you don't need no CD Key nor admin rights called HPE (Halo Portable Edition) download information here - HPE :: Halo Portable Edition

Don't waste time finding Halo CD Keys, when joining most servers it will probably say "Invalid CD Key" anyway.
