The remastered versions aren't marketed toward people that have already played the original, but new players entirely.
It's basically buying the original game, but updated mechanically for a new gen.
If you're already played the original, then don't buy the remastered version, as simple as that.

You have no idea how many kids won't play old games simply because their graphics are bad, you have to understand how deeply rooted that shit it. I was guilty of it myself when I was a kid, I didn't want to play the classics because they had 'shitty graphics'.
