Yes. Not in private, since VAC isn't on in private, but in public, it's detected.

It was already patched. This is not a hack, it's a file edit. VAC scans the .cfg files, and it always has. That's why he said from the start; USE IN PRIVATE MATCHES, or NOT AT ALL.

However, it does still work, if you want to surprise your teammates in private match.

Exacta . My console wasn't exactly detected back then, but as you said, some codes are protected.
