So im looking to buy a new video card :B

300 to 400 could actually be overkill for rust. I've known people to play on integrated graphics, albeit with lowered graphics.
You could get theMsi GeForce GTX 980ti OC but for 90$ more you could get the hybrid water/air cooled version from EVGA
but you could get the more popular evga OC acx 2 plus backplate. But overall the first card would fit you best with that price. It'll run hot, but beautifully. No problem with rust. Make sure you have the watts to support it though.
I personally have 2 Gigabyte G1 Gaming, but they're more out of your price range.
If you just want to play rust, you could get a cheaper card and save money

The 980 is the best card you can get between $300-$400. You won't get many options when you select them but currently there's a MSI 980 going for $365. Shipping and taxes should bring it up to your $400 pricemark.

Just buy the GTX 1070, they only cost $450.00
If that is too expensive, just get the GTX 970 FTW, it only costs $299.00 and generally is better than most GTX 980s.
The GTX 980 isn't worth it; both the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 have better performance for the same price.

I was recommending what was in Stock. Gtx 1000 series are pretty much sold out or overpriced.

IMO the RX 480 is plenty enough to play Rust. Getting a 1070 (if you can even find them!) would be overkill.
