Sam's Club Cash Rewards Denied Because Of Business Account Number??? Please Read

1st off if you didn't appreciate being tagged in this thread. Forgive me but this problem is/was very urgent.

My problem is a lil weird. I usually have my homie who lives in another state do the Sam's thing. Cuz the one closest to me is sorta out the way. But I went yesterday & the lady asked me for a business account name & or number. Or sum shit like that. She said she needed to enter in the numbers or w.e. this shit was weird cuz my homie never ran into nothing like this.

I think mine may have registered with a business or w.e. so for w.e. reason that might be the difference. So I think I may know what to do next time. I just wanna be sure & to see if others have dealt or heard something like this before.

They usually ask that if you buying for your business then they ask for the tax number. You can say no and they should still ring it up.

SauceGod got chu. Depending on the sams club account there is a chance he can be business or just consumer the sams club working probably saw what you were buying as a business purchase because alot of people that buy from sams most likely resale and for that reason they ask for business account name and number so it goes into your taxes SINCE your not the owner of that account nor give a fuck about business or not just say, its not resale its for me, consumer product or just go self check out.

Usually they ask this, to see if the business is 501(c)(3) But tell them it isn't connected to a business, if you are still running into trouble, just place an online order.

Thanks for tagging me in the post @Muzik4lyfe I gotchu. Never use a Samsclub Business account. Whoever sold that or if you cracked that yourself, it should have filtered it out. I've got sams club accounts that are business but I never use them considering Sam's "plus" is what the account with cash rewards is supposed to be. Never use accounts that are registered with a business, always make sure on the account tab, it say's "Sams Plus"!

So these rewards can be used at a register with sams cashier? If so, how? I've used about 3 but only self checkout. Also has anyone been successful purchasing giftcards? Thanks for any reply

At my Sam's Club, they don't have the Mastercard gift cards on the floor anymore. They're locked up and require purchase at customer service, they won't let you take them to self checkout.
