How often do I need to update my cheats?

I noticed that csgo updates very often and it says that the date modified for csgo (in steam folder) is 7/10/16 (today), so I'm wondering if I need to update them? And is there a way to update them myself if I know nothing about coding?

"Your" cheats? If you mean the cheats posted here then all you have to do is just come back here and check to see if the creator or someone else has updated them and download the newest version

You need to update your hacks whenever they get Outdated/Detected. If they get Outdated because the game offsets have changed, then you can just get the newest ones by dumping them with a game offset dumper, e.g. Y3t1y3t's CS:GO Dumper and update your hacks with them. However, if they get Detected and you don't know anything about coding, then I'm afraid there's nothing you can do but to wait for someone to release updated hacks for CS:GO.
