So business website problem

So basically we own a few businesses (my dad) and one of the business is a motel that we own and we have a littttle problem. So customers keep coming and saying well that the price online is different then what we told . However the motel website is the old old owner's and he is dead so we don't have any way of taking it down. So what can we do? Can we get a lawyer and get it taken down that way?

Request this from ICANN, as long as your legally owning a company but a website has either been not responsive to it or is hijacked, ICANN should transfer it or delete upon legal request

Contact the web hosting company. Explain that you are the legal owners (provide proof) and you want it shutdown.

Sorry for being so ignorant, but ICANN isn't the company who points all the 'domains' to an IP? All they can do is stop pointing the domain to the webhosting.

Sorry for being so ignorant, but ICANN isn't the company who points all the 'domains' to an IP? All they can do is stop pointing the domain to the webhosting.

ICANN is the registrant of all domains. They can control every domain. Btw do u have the hosting panel or something?
