VAC gives away bans randomly, even if you'd play with a detected cheat, you could use it properly and get banned 2 weeks after.

I've heard people say the servertool is detected though, so I'm going to keep away from that.

Odd, been using it since it's release as well, no bans here yet.
And even if I get banned, new key is like € 25, so that's no big deal, was worth the fun, going to BC2 when it comes out anyway. (Waiting for my beta key now )
