How to travel bots without getting soft banned?

If I open my pokemongo at the airport in Florida then travel to California and open it will i be banned? How long does it take until you can open your account (or bot) so you can trade your pokemons onto a new account.

You'll probably get soft banned if you open it while on the plane (moving too fast) but as long as the flight is longer than 2 hours, you're safe to open it in California again.
