[EDIT] as soon as R6 gets launched via Ubisoft Launcher (the renaming method doesn't let me launch the game not even from a shortcut), in the BE folder, there appear the normal EXEs plus a BEDaisy.sys

You cannot run from uPlay launcher, run it from the game folder

Well, if you renamed it correctly, it should be changed to .txt.
I have the feeling, I don't quite understand you.

Maybe you have the same issue as me. For me, the .txts get replaced by the usual exe's when launching R6 the next time.
That's why I just disable BE i the Task Manager.
