You don't need D3D or VB to bypass VAC.
What you do need is solid reversing knowledge, alot of time and knowledge of C++.
Here's some starting info:
- VAC2 is inside steam(not inside the game like alot of people think)
- While playing on a VAC secured server there will be a file named ~numbers.tmp(e.g. ~347285.tmp), that file is the VAC dll.
- VAC uses the following functions to scan your game:
*ReadProcessMemory
*CreateToolHelpSnapshot32
*Module32First
*Module32Next
*GetLogicalDriveStrings

Well its good that you have those many years of practice. But as Raven said look into
D3D, try to make you're own hack and you will be apprectiated as a "Choob" At Mpgh.
Thank you Hell_demon, you actually gave me a great start. I know that I will have to basically reverse engineer the VAC part of Steam, I just didnt exactly know which functions it used to check for hacks so thank you for that info.
I will concentrate on fighting VAC because I have a big issue with software that tells me what I can and cannot do. Admins in game are supposed to monitor and stop any unwanted action from players, not software.
On a side note, I have been looking a lot through these forums, and I do see a lot of people bitching and complaining about how hacks dont work. My take on that is: Its a privilege for you to even obtain these files, people have put their own time and effort in creating them so dont start bitching about hacks not working.
If for some reason hacks really do not work for you, then there is no loss and no gain. (well that is if you dont get banned, but you should already know you are taking that risk)

note that the ~344872.tmp file disappears while not playing, the way I got it was by joining a VAC secured game and copying it over to another place.

R3Verse Engineering, hahaha Raven xD
Anyways, we are always happy with good experienced coders before, make us proud to have members like you on the forum and release some of the hacks, if you want to The MW2 Hacking team, like Bluthera said, will look into it then

I tried to locate the VAC2.dll file, but with no luck. I found a video of a guy explaining how VAC kind of works and he said the file size is about 238 KB, but I couldnt find a single file with about that size(none of the numbers.tmp files). Of course I am using a banned account that I can be in game for about 20 sec, but it would still generate, right?
I only know a file VAC2Spoof.dll, could this be what you mean?
It's just in your main Steam Folder, wherever you installed it.
