Honestly, I started as an Optical Lab Technician, which just focuses in the lab using the laser cutters to cut out lenses, clean em, and package em up to be shipped out around the world. I put on my resume that I was good with computers and going to college for hardware engineering, and less than a month from being hired, I got a promotion to a DBA. The other guy that I work with on a daily basis to manage everything lives out in Portland, OR (skin cancer, Florida's too fuckin hot bruv) is 3 hours behind me. So I get to work at 8:30, and just browse here, Reddit, and some YouTube for 3 hours until he wakes up and comes online. It's a really chill job and I don't mean to brag but I'm making just under 100k/year as a 19 year old. My life is kinda set, for now.

You're right man, I just kinda got lucky and handed a job with a more than livable wage. I'll be smart with my money, no worries and hey, I was in the same boat as you literally a little over a month ago, I was jobless, hospital bills, car troubles, and depressed as fuck. I was in the same boat as you literally a little over a month ago, I was jobless, hospital bills, car troubles, and depressed as fuck. Just don't give up, and something good will come eventually. Everyone has something good happen in their life. Everyone.

I live in a rich country, go to school, have good chances for a decent job I´m aiming for and am certainly not depressed.

Oh, what do you mean? Are you looking for a job? As of now, we're increasing profit wise, but we've got people running 2 laser cutters at a time, and we're managing to keep up the process. We probably get 2 visitors a week to our on-site location, which is dope, there's a pool table, a hoverboard, a few skateboards, I'll take pictures tomorrow.

The laser cutters are all enclosed, because lasers, but I can show you the manual blade cutters!! We also have a laser engraver that I can show you! There's this huge ass machine that we have that you can load up about 500 pairs of blank lenses in theses trays, and the machine does it all automatically by scanning the barcode for the shape and bevel to cut out. It's pretty neat.
