I don't know if this is an error on your end or something but FMA is shown completed but it's in the category "Plan to watch". If you haven't finished it then do that.

You could look into Utawarerumono.
It's about a post-apocalyptic world where humans (Highly Advanced) had to live underground because the surface became unhabitable.
The humans started to mess with genes to make humans more adaptable to the surface, but something caused them to vanish or go extinct, only their Decoys (Human Test Subjects, Humans/Animal) were left to roam the Earth's surface after it became habitable again.
The series doesn't go into much of the human plot until the second season. The first season; however, does explain what happened to most of the humans.

EDIT: If you liked Akame ga Kill! check out Seven Deadly Sins, the two are pretty similar in terms of quality and animation, they're both great.

Seven deadly sins is quite good, even started watching the second season I guess were the Meliodas and Ban fight, but I guess they took a break.

Ah the signs of holy war? That wasn't it's actual second season, the second season will be coming out soon though.
