Faster crossfire update download Using uTorrent!!!

This was recommended by z8-games not me. I'm just helping you out with how to get the torrent download to work.

So a few of my friends have asked me why it wont dl when they tried using the torrent. They say they got an error saying "this is unrecognized code or is broken", or something like that... but here is how to get it to work:



1.) Go to Torrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client and download the torrent. (version 2.0)
2.) Open the file and install it.
3.) When it opens let it run the tests.
4.) Go to the download page on z8-games and click the torrent download.
Cross Fire - Free Online FPS - Cross Fire - Free Online FPS - Home
5.) Press ok at the bottom of the uTorrent screen that pops up and go live your life, periodically checking it to see if it has finished.
6.) When it's done play crossfire and PWN SOME MUTANTS!!!!!!



I'm sorry... I know this is advertising but I cant afford to pay on an upload site to allow more than 10 downloads per upload =\

If you already have a payed account, or feel like paying for one, or even are willing to upload it over and over again, go ahead and do it and post it in a new topic along with this guide or a better one if you can make one up.

If you do take this guide though, please do give me the credit... if not ill make sure people know i was first =p

I just want people to be able to download cf faster because i know how annoying it is to have to wait 4 HOURS for it to download.

I'm going to leave the torrent open until i shut off my comp so it will make the entire file available for everyone (also called seeding) please do the same... don't be selfish and just close it when you're done please.

P.S. using uTorrent I was able to completely re-download and install crossfire in less than 30 minutes... enjoy =p

Marudis, thanks for posting this, but MPGH isn't suppose to allow links (I know you already noted that). But, it will still probably be useful to all the noobs asking about a quick download.

Offtopic: MY first score on mutant mode was 50 -8. ;P (I got pretty sexy kills on a couple of mutants with just a shovel).

Vuze is better them BitTorrent, much faster, and easy to use, well BitTorrent is easy to use too put Vuze is better.

lol you kinda have to advertise to be a hack website... you gotta advertise the site where you dl the hack... like rapdshre (cut word down to let it in) and yah vuze is good but it has a virus or two... norton said nothing about this torrent =p and hahne... i know you don't have to dl a new client for it but doing the auto-patch takes soooo long! that's why i post this =p

This isn't the fastest way to download the new crossfire client. I know a faster way, Just download "internet download manager" and use the 30 day trail. Just click on the mirror and a screen will pop up and click on download now. Then just let it download and it will go to 700kb/s u will get it within 10-30 mins.
