★★ New Scamming Method on MPGH! *Updated* ★★

Guys, this might not be the right place to post but still I think this is really important.
So recently I have seen this scamming thread and I think I know how he did it.
Scammed by Unicorn-Pussy



I am not sure how we are going to prevent this sh*t from happening again, so I am leaving to you guys...
Not sure if we can call this a scam,just be cautious, the steps are really easy.
I am not saying that this might be a scam just my freaking cool idea..
I'll provide pictures for the steps, so you get it better.
Requirements:
-2 skype
-Internet
-Picture editing Skills
-Brain

To make it easier for me, I'll call:
1st Skype: Meaning the main skype of the buyer.
2st Skype: Meaning the other account for scamming.

1. The buyer(scammer) makes 2 skypes (1 as his main, and 2nd for impersonating the seller)
2.You login with 2nd skype from web.skype and login to 1st Skype from the downloaded version.
This is an important part
3. You add the person who you are gonna scam from 2nd Skype, just for educational purposes, I am using
@Psychotic and after he accepts you, you just take a screenshot of his profile picture.
And just edit the 2nd skype's profile.



4.And just talk to yourself. (I am lonely)

I know that he doesn't adds people, just didn't have the proper time to make it look %100 legit.

5. And simply:


6. Get your refund.


Note: So not sure how we can prevent this.

Well, not only can you do that but you can forcefully change skype logs. But the idea is that if that happened you would call it out and would ask for validation.

I think this is the method I talked about with @Flengo but just a bit dumbed down. Already provided him with a solution to it.

Although the method I thought up was a lot more detailed and extensive, anyways why expose a SCAMMING METHOD to the general????

Just PM the middlemen so that others don't find out about it and possibly do it.

No that method has already been expressed in MP talk. It's not dumbed down either considering the possible outcomes. Accused user is inactive on vacation, this is done, user is requested to refund, mis-banned until back???

The fact is that a lot of shit can be edited, anyone can abuse this in many different ways by simple editing.

I am completely aware of detrimental impact Skype editing has. I have spoken to the MMs before on this and recently made a thread about it to ensure something is done as quickly as possible.

Me and Flengo are working on something that can phase Skype out. Not sure if it'll be working without a middleman, but that's something we can look into.

I really appreciate it, I am not a fan of scammers, and I know how a scammed person feels, not sure how you are gonna do it but gl on it.

Prepared? The middlemen will be on the end of this, they just need a solution to it and its solved. If by in fact this is just reporting to gain refunds.

The moment I made this thread, it wasn't solved and also Unicorn-pussy was ready to refund him even though he might/might not have scammed him.
