Yep, use Sony Vegas 9 and Adobe After-effects CS4.
You can search them on thepiratebay, but that website seems to be down right now.

I use Sony Vegas.
It's all you need.
Seriously, you don't need Adobe After effects.
If your clips are SUPER AWESOME.
Like, great kills, and YOU KNOW HOW TO WORK Adobe After effects.
Then get it,
if not, then stick to Sony Vegas.
There are many things you can do with Sony Vegas, trust me

Flying Text (In video, like EpicallyAWM's montage)
video in video, zooming, masking etc;
Sony Vegas is all you need, just listen
